His father was John Rudden born approx 1858, his mother was Mary Kelly born approx 1848 in Yorkshire as well, they were married in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1886. John was last seen in the 1901 English census in London but grandad said that his father John left the family and no one knew where he ended up.
