My G-G- Grandfather was John Rudden born about 1851. He married a Susan Reilly from Drumcor, Redhills, Co. Cavan. John&#8217;s family may have come from Drumcor also. On his childrens baptismal certs a Peter Rudden and a Patt Rudden appear. These children were born in the 1870&#8217;s. John left Ireland for the USA in 1877 and his family followed in 1879. Here they lived as Reilly as John was a wanted man.
