just after reading the blog from bernice of mullinav arnogue redhills 

co cavan. moved to the usa in 1968,I am frances the sister of gerard, 

mary, bernice, pauline rudden all of county cavan redhills.  were back 

home for funeral of patrick john rudden,father, deceased june 19 2009. 

brother to molly, bridgett(beezie) and bernard rudden(bennie) all 

deceased except beezie married to pat nicholl of redhills.  pat rudden 

was married to mary mckiernan(deceased) sister surviving is

bernie married to zamier hassan.  mary rudden, mckiernan was a toher 

of killoughter and shannowood, pat rudden is the son of honora 

rudden,smith from tullybrick, pats father was black john rudden.  if 

anyone shares this ancestry please add to this.

  1. Frances, I have the first entry here. The names Patrick and John are common in my Rudden family. I believe my g-g-Grandfather was Patrick Rudden, Great grandfather was John Rudden, Grandfather Patrick and Patrick’s oldest son was named John. Been looking for my Rudden family since I learned about John Rudden 1877 incident 7 years ago. Thanks, Bill
